Growth Points
Growth Points are the currency for character progression in Echoes of Aincrad. This page records what the official guide confirms about the seven stats, how Growth Points are allocated, and the stat-to-weapon-skill relationship — no stat recommendations or build guides are provided.
The Seven Stats
Growth Points are invested across seven attributes. Each stat represents a different aspect of your character's capability:
How Growth Points Are Allocated
You receive Growth Points as you level up and can distribute them freely across the seven stats. The official guide establishes the existence of this system but does not publish the point costs per level, caps on individual stats, or the rate at which Growth Points become available. This means a dedicated best-stat allocation guide cannot be written from official sources alone.
Stat Scaling with Weapon Skills
However, official sources do not publish which stats affect which weapon types, which specific skills scale with which stats, or the exact scaling coefficients. The relationship exists but its details are not in the public official guide.
The six weapon types are covered in the All Weapon Types page. Each weapon type has its own progression track and Sword Skills that unlock through use. See the Weapons Guide for how Sword Skills unlock and the Build System page for how Growth Points and EX-MODs form the two pillars of the build system.
Growth Points in the Demo
The demo caps character level at 15 and each weapon type's Proficiency at level 3. How Growth Points interact with those demo caps — whether you can fully allocate all seven stats or hit a soft gate — is not yet confirmed in official sources. The full game's Growth Point system is expected to extend beyond those limits.
See the Demo Guide for the complete list of demo progress limits.
