Demo Missions
The Echoes of Aincrad demo contains five missions. This page records what official Bandai Namco sources confirm about those missions and the demo's progression limits — no walkthroughs or step-by-step guides are published here.
Five Missions
The official Steam announcement confirms the demo contains five missions. This is the full extent of officially confirmed information about the individual missions: their specific names, objectives, boss encounters, and precise completion order are not published in official sources available at this time.
Mission names, step-by-step walkthroughs, hidden objectives, and failure states require hands-on play to confirm and cannot be derived from official sources alone. This site does not publish a demo walkthrough.

Map Discovery in the Demo
The demo guide confirms that quest and dungeon maps are revealed through exploration. Checkpoints reveal the surrounding area and mark points of interest, including hidden treasure and sealed shortcuts. The Town of Beginnings is the hub in the demo.
See the Map & Discovery page for what official sources confirm about the six named areas and the exploration-reveal mechanic across the full game.
Weapons in the Demo
All six weapon types — Sword and Shield, Two-Handed Axe, Dagger, Rapier, Two-Handed Sword, and Mace — are available in the demo. Weapon Proficiency caps at level 3 per weapon type, limiting how many Sword Skills can be unlocked before reaching the demo's level cap.
See the All Weapon Types page for the full official weapon list and the Weapons Guide for how Sword Skills unlock through weapon use.

How the Full Game Extends Beyond the Demo
The full game removes the level 15 and Weapon Proficiency 3 caps. Cardinal Rank, which is capped or absent in the demo, affects merchant availability, smithy access, monster difficulty, item drops, and partner abilities in the full game.
See the Build System page for how Cardinal Rank, EX-MOD fusion, and Growth Points work in the complete game.
