Day One Patch Notes: Ver.1.0.3
Bandai Namco Europe published Echoes of Aincrad Update File Ver.1.0.3 on July 10, 2026. The official note covers demo save transfer, broad balance and control adjustments, bug fixes, and one listed known issue with an official checkpoint workaround.
What to Check First
Check the title screen for Ver.1.0.3 and install the latest update before transferring demo save data. The official patch note lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam as target platforms.

Listed Known Issue and Official Workaround
Sub-quest “Opportunity”
The official notes list a condition where the Ark Boss may not re-emerge after a specific attack during its digging motion.
Official workaround: use Return to Checkpoint from the map menu. This returns you to the last visited safety area or warp terminal so you can challenge the encounter again.
Official Support Item Set
The patch notes also announce a one-time Support Item Set for each save data. According to the official note, it becomes available after progressing to the main quest “Iori’s Request” and can be collected from the Chest at the Inn.
